- OBSTRUCTION AND TOWER LIGHTING
Advanced Strobe Products, Inc. with its more than
15 years experience of design, production, and service
proudly supplies the Obstruction and Tower Lighting
industries with strobe lamps of uncompromising quality
for both medium-intensity and high-intensity obstruction
lighting systems.
Medium-Intensity strobe lighting is primarily
used on tall structures between 150‚ (45M) and 500,
(150M) to provide adequately for aviation safety.
High-Intensity strobe lighting is used as
daytime and nighttime markers for structures and buildings
taller than 500‚ (150M) above ground level for aviation
safety.
Uses for both of the above strobe lighting systems
would include but are not limited to communication
towers, television and radio towers, chimneys, tall
buildings as defined above, bridges and river crossings.

WARNING
-AIRPORT & AIRCRAFT
Advanced Strobe Products, Inc. offers a variety of
Aviation strobe lamps which are designed and fully
constructed to provide the safety levels crucial for
Airfield Approach and Runway lighting applications.
Applications include but are not limited to the following:
Runway End Identifier Lights (REIL) aid pilots
in identifying the approaching end of a runway to
ensure the utmost in visibility to the pilot for a
safe approach and uneventful landing.
Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System (MALSR)
strobelamps are designed specifically to provide
the pilot with the earliest visuals possible of the
runway approach when visibility limiting Instrument
Meteorological Conditions (IMC) develop.
Omnidirectional Approach Lighting System (ODALS)
flash tubes mark the extended runway centerline
for 1,500 feet with indicators placed at each end
of the runway.
Anti-Collision to include wing-tip flash lamps,
upper and lower fuselage flash lamps, and aft position

- MACHINE VISION
Advanced Strobe Products, Inc., synonymous with high-quality
products and customer service, offers standard power
supplies from 40 watts to 200 watts for the Machine
Vision Industry with available modifications that propose
greater design flexibility. Our Xenon flash tubes which
provide superior illumination together with the durable
construction of the unit will afford you only the finest
and most reliable power supply available. Custom design
is also available for diverse strobe applications in
numerous fields, to include but not limited to Webbing
and High-Speed Inspection applications. Our standard
Fiber Optic Power Supplies for Machine Vision Strobelight
applications include:
AS4000 Series (115VAC/220VAC) of Fiber-Optic
Illuminators/Stroboscopes produce light impulses of
high-intensity and short duration as is required for
virtually any machine vision strobelight application.
This power supply unit, when operating in conjunction
with a Charge Injected Device (CID)/ Charge Coupled
Display (CCD) camera system, enables the system to freeze
the motion which in turn removes the likelihood for
blurred images and thereby results in a remarkably improved
image. Its Light Intensity Variable Range is approximately
10:1, with an outstanding lamp life maintained over
70% of initial intensity. As detailed below, the variations
of this model offer variances in flash repetitions in
relation to flash lamp input so as to accommodate your
exacting machine vision strobelamp specifications.
AS4020 has an Input Voltage of 115
or 230VAC Input Current of .5A .Energy per Flash of
2.16 J Flash Repetition Rate of 20 HZ.
AS4060 has an Input Voltage of 115
or 230VAC Input Current of .5A .Energy per Flash of
.72 J Flash Repetition Rate of 60 HZ.
AS4200 has an Input Voltage of 115
or 230VAC Input Current of .5A .Energy per Flash of
.20 J Flash Repetition Rate of 200 HZ. ASP’s
various Machine Vision Strobe Power Supplies are detailed
as follows:
AS40 has an Input Voltage of 120
or 230VAC Power Output of 40 Watt Output Voltage of
350-1000 VDC Timing Voltage of 5-15 Volts.
AS200 has an Input Voltage of 120
or 230VAC Power Output of 200 Watt Output Voltage
of 350-1000 VDC Timing Voltage of 5-15 Volts.
AS50 has an Input Voltage of 120
or 230VAC Power Output of 50 Wall Output Voltage
of 350-1000 VDC Timing Voltage of 5-15 Volts.
AS4100 Series reflect ASP’s
technological advancements in improved flash lamp and
reflector design which intensifies the amount of light
output by more than 40% over that produced in the
AS4000 series. As with the AS4000 Series, it is often
operated with a Charge Injected Device (CID/ Charge
Coupled Display (CCD) camera system which enables
the system to freeze the motion and in turn removes

CW ARC LAMPS
The unique interaction between light pulse produced
by flash lamps and the human tissue has opened a new
chapter in contemporary medicine. Advanced Strobe
Products, Inc. has met the challenge and has introduced
an innovative laser/medical product line which has
gained recognition in laser pumping, industrial machining,
dentistry, eye surgery and endoscopy. The Intense
Pulse Light (IPL) systems utilizing highly customizable
(in relation to the wavelength, the energy, and width
of the pulse) flash lamps produced by ASP can be used
in various medical applications including but not
limited to:

- Treatment of vascular and pigmented
lesions

Although laser applications
have different labels such as Intense Pulsed Light

primarily utilizes the energy from a pulsed flash lamp
unit and directs it to the skin. Advancements in laser
technology have been significant and their uses have
